At Navaska, we specialise in electrical and mechanical services including commercial air conditioning and commercial and industrial refrigeration solutions. We provide high-end design, installation and support services to construction, commercial and industrial customers across South East and Central Queensland.
The business has grown significantly over the past 25 years, with our Managing Director Ross McLennan launching the company in 1997 as a small family run business. Today Navaska is a multi-layer, multi-division, national mechanical services contractor with over 70 highly-specialised staff. While our size has changed, our focus on small business values such as honesty, integrity and quality hasn’t. We are reliable, dependable, cost effective and proactive. We treat our clients like family and value the importance of building trusted, long-term relationships. Our clients come first and we have a strong focus on understanding their needs, requirements and desired outcomes for every project from the outset.

Meet The Team
Ross McLennan
Managing Director
Ross manages the daily operations at Navaska and takes a very hands on approach to ensure the successful design and delivery of projects, on time and budget. With over 30 years’ experience Ross brings both industry knowledge and practical engineering expertise to every project.
Troy Jaremenko
Director
Troy manages our service division, working proactively with our clients to deliver servicing, scheduled and preventative maintenance across all areas to help extend the life of equipment. He has over 22 years’ experience in the industrial refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
Lisa Manteit
Finance & Office Manager
With over 10 years at Navaska, Lisa oversees the day-to-day activities of all administration staff and is responsible for the fluency and accuracy of paperwork and financial reporting to management. She is also responsible for investigating ways to increase profitability and analysis of performance for both the Service and Project divisions.
Michael Maddren
Client Service Manager
Michael manages some of our largest air conditioning clients throughout South East QLD and provides service support to both clients and staff. He has over 20 yrs experience in senior management roles within the HVAC & R industry and oversees day to day operations; & small to medium projects.
Matt Travers
Mechanical Engineer
Matt provides mechanical engineering design and documentation of HVAC & R for residential, industrial and commercial buildings. He also assists with the design for project tenders, provides construction coordination and guidance on projects and is an integral member of our engineering team.
Steve Dickinson
Senior Project Manager
Steve has over 28 years in MEP Services Construction Industry, has exceptional organisational skills and is responsible for financial reporting, procurement & management of projects. His extensive experience in many construction sectors has given him varied skills & the ability to work with colleagues & clients at all levels.
Stuart Caskie
Senior Design Draftsperson
Stuart is responsible for the Design & Documentation of all mechanical services across our projects & co-ordination utilising Revit, Autocad Fabrication & Navisworks for services clash detection. Stuart also produces files for Trimble RTS Total Station to accurately set out services on site & is continually developing our drafting capabilities with the latest software.
Trent Giles
Project Manager
Trent has extensive experience in the HVAC&R industry with a background in sheet metal work, design, estimating & installation. He is responsible for the financial control and delivery of small to large scale projects. Trent’s experience ranges from Chiller installation, Air Conditioning installations and Ventilation systems as well as overseeing our prefabrication process ensuring that equipment is delivered accurately and on time to our construction sites.
Derrick Ong
Engineering Manager
Derrick is responsible for the design and documentation of HVAC& R for residential, industrial, healthcare and commercial buildings & oversees our engineering design team. He provides design direction & value engineering to all mechanical designs, undertakes tender submissions, detailed design, sustainability reviews and engineering design certification.
David Kratzmann
Service Supervisor
David has been with Navaska for over 9 years as Service Supervisor, overseeing air conditioning & refrigeration for corporate, industrial and commercial clients with experience in installation and project management. He also manages a team of mechanics for routine maintenance, scheduled projects and break down work.
Michael Atholwood
Service Supervisor
Mick is responsible for a portfolio of service clients in the commercial refrigeration & air conditioning fields. He manages a team of tradesmen and apprentices carrying out repairs, maintenance and project works and has been in the HVAC & R industry for over 20 years.
Brad Sanders
Service Supervisor
Brad has been with Navaska for over 18 years and is a valued asset to our service team. He manages service department air conditioning installation works and maintains numerous air conditioning service sites across a diverse range of clients.
Eliesha Armstrong
Contract Administrator
Eliesha supports the Project Managers and Site Managers both in the office and on site. She is responsible for contract reviews, preparation of variations, cost code analysis, procurement schedules, delivery and prefab schedules, collation of the Operation & Maintenance Manuals, assisting with tender submissions, reviewing percentage of completion before preparation of progress claims.
Claire Murray
Project Administrator
Claire prepares monthly progress claims, raises purchase orders and produces weekly project reports for management. She maintains and co-ordinates information on projects supporting the Project Managers with all information necessary to help them successfully manage projects efficiently, on time and on budget.
Toni Symmonds
HSEQ Manager
Toni has been with Navaska for over 13 yrs, implementing & maintaining health, safety, environmental and quality systems, meeting and exceeding HSEQ standards required by legislative authorities and our clients in a wide range of industries including Construction, Education, Food Processing & Retailers, Manufacturing, Cold Storage, Property Management, IT Management Services and Logistics.
Charlene Barnes
Accounts Payable
Charlene is responsible for raising all office purchase orders, reconciliation of supplier ledgers and bank accounts, plus analysis of procurement trends and development of supplier relationships. She also provides admin support to our Service & Project divisions.
Jodie Smith
Accounts Receivable & Service Scheduling
Jodie coordinates the billing and collection of our receivables, prepares and processes all client invoices and monthly reporting to both management and clients. She provides support to our service administration and assists with the scheduling of our service clients for all maintenance and breakdowns.
Paul Casey
Electrical Supervisor - Service
As a dual trade mechanic in both Electrical and Refrigeration, Paul provides excellent technical support to clients and staff for all electrical and industrial refrigeration service needs. Paul is a loyal and committed staff member who has been with Navaska for over 19 years.
Cristy Roebuck
Services Co-ordinator
Cristy is responsible for scheduling service technicians across all commercial & industrial air conditioning & refrigeration jobs, planning client’s preventative maintenance work, handling all break down enquiries and communicating with clients. She also processes part requirements, prepares purchase orders & liaises with external stakeholders.
Kate Prasad
Project Administrator
Kate prepares monthly progress claims/ summaries for all jobs & projects, raises purchase orders and produces weekly project reports. She ensures all program and project data are captured, maintains and co-ordinates information on projects assisting the Project Managers to analyse costs against the project budget.
Allan Bowley
Storeman/ Warehouse Supervisor
Allan is responsible for Logistics and Warehousing, Service Fleet Management, Refrigeration/Welding Gas management, as well as Tool Procurement and Maintenance. Delivery of parts to site and general forklift and Trade Assistant duties.
