At Navaska, we specialise in electrical and mechanical services including commercial air conditioning and commercial and industrial refrigeration solutions. We provide high-end design, installation and support services to construction, commercial and industrial customers across South East and Central Queensland.
The business has grown significantly over the past 25 years, with our Managing Director Ross McLennan launching the company in 1997 as a small family run business. Today Navaska is a multi-layer, multi-division, national mechanical services contractor with over 70 highly-specialised staff. While our size has changed, our focus on small business values such as honesty, integrity and quality hasn’t. We are reliable, dependable, cost effective and proactive. We treat our clients like family and value the importance of building trusted, long-term relationships. Our clients come first and we have a strong focus on understanding their needs, requirements and desired outcomes for every project from the outset.

Meet The Team
Ross McLennan
Managing Director
Ross manages the daily operations of Navaska, providing strategic direction & a strong systems-based approach to leadership. He takes a very hands-on approach to ensure the best possible design outcomes for clients with a genuine focus on value management. With over 35 years’ experience Ross brings both industry knowledge and practical engineering expertise to every project.
Luke Crowther
Service Manager
Luke manages our service division, working proactively with our clients to deliver servicing, scheduled and preventative maintenance across all areas to help extend the life of equipment. He has over 17 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration and the air conditioning industry. Luke is a great asset to our team and mentor to our service technicians.
Lisa Manteit
Finance & Office Manager
With over 16 years at Navaska, Lisa oversees the day-to-day activities of all administration staff and is responsible for the fluency and accuracy of paperwork and financial reporting to management. She is also responsible for investigating ways to increase profitability and analysis of performance for both the Service and Project divisions.
Adam Stuart
Construction Manager
Adam brings over 30 years of HVAC experience to our SE QLD construction projects. Specialising in the management of mechanical, electrical, & sheet metal fabrication, he works in close partnership with clients and site managers to ensure leadership excellence, precise cost control & the seamless delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
Jack O'Shannessy
Project Manager
Jack is responsible for large & small scale HVAC construction projects in SE QLD. Jack manages multiple teams in our construction sector for mechanical plumbing, electrical & sheet metal trades. He works closely with our site managers and engineers helping develop innovative design solutions, iniatives & team leadership.
Derrick Ong
Engineering Manager
Derrick is responsible for the design and documentation of HVAC& R for residential, industrial, healthcare and commercial buildings & oversees our engineering design team. He provides design direction & value engineering to all mechanical designs, undertakes tender submissions, detailed design, sustainability reviews and engineering design certification.
Stuart Caskie
Drafting Manager
Stuart is responsible for the Design & Documentation of all mechanical services across our projects & co-ordination utilising Revit, Autocad Fabrication & Navisworks for services clash detection. Stuart also produces files for Trimble RTS Total Station to accurately set out services on site & is continually developing our drafting capabilities with the latest software.
Garry Asciak
Site Manager
Garry is an experienced Site Manager who closely works with builders and leads a skilled team of plumbers, sheet metal workers, and electricians. He ensures work is completed safely to the highest of standards, and keeps projects on schedule. His hands-on leadership and practical knowledge of various trades contribute to the smooth operation of every build.
Peter Ravetali
Site Manager
Peter is a Site Manager on our large high rise construction sites responsible for overseeing the daily execution, safety, and quality of air conditioning installations, heating and ventilation and leading a team of plumbers, mechanics and sheet metal workers to deliver successful and timely project completions.
Lanneo Nagel
Mechanical Engineer
Lanneo designs, sizes and coordinate HVAC systems for high rise residential towers and industrial facilities, balancing engineering rigour with practical buildability. His activities include heat load calculations, design and coordination meetings, technical reporting and site inspections. Lanneo collaborates with architects, building services engineers and other contractors to deliver efficient, compliant and maintainable HVAC systems.
Jolene Mundl
Contract Administrator
Jolene carries out Contract Administration, end-to-end project execution, scheduling, procurement, development and implementation of workflow applications and financial systems as required. She works closely with our project managers, consultants & subcontractors to track progress, prepare reporting, identifys risks to mitigate delays & ensure efficient delivery for succesful project outcomes.
Matt Travers
Mechanical Engineer
Matt provides mechanical engineering design and documentation of HVAC & R for residential, industrial and commercial buildings. He also assists with the design for project tenders, provides construction coordination and guidance on projects and is an integral member of our engineering team.
David Kratzmann
Resource & Production Supervisor
David oversees Warehouse operations related to HVAC materials & equipment for all projects. He manages resources, labour, and schedules to support on-time project delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards. David continues to work closely with the Service team to deliver operational & project requirements.
Michael Atholwood
Service Supervisor
Mick is responsible for a portfolio of service clients in the commercial refrigeration & air conditioning fields. He manages a team of tradesmen and apprentices carrying out repairs, maintenance and project works and has been in the HVAC & R industry for over 23 years.
Brad Sanders
Service Supervisor
Brad has been with Navaska for over 23 years and is a valued asset to our service team. He manages service department air conditioning installation works and maintains numerous air conditioning service sites across a diverse range of clients.
Michael Francis
Client Services Manager
Michael has over 30 years’ experience in the HVAC & R industry and oversees the financial control & delivery of small to large scale projects in our service division. His responsibilities include design, estimation, project delivery, client liaison and co-ordination of our service technicians across a variety of our client sites including construction, education, food processing, industrial, IT & logistics.
Megan Busk
Payroll & Finance Support
Meg manages Payroll across all Navaska entities, processing timesheets, calculating wages and deductions, ensuring tax and superannuation compliance and providing general administration support to our Finance Department. She also manages our apprentices and co-ordinates TAFE bookings and scheduling, develops training plans and assists with the setup of new employees and staff inductions.
Toni Symmonds
HSEQ Manager
Toni has been with Navaska for over 17 yrs, overseeing HSEQ programs, insurance renewals and contract reviews. Key responsibilities include WHS compliance and ongoing review of Navaska’s policies and procedures to keep pace with changing legislation and best practices, while making sure that implementation is practical and workers are engaged across all departments, fostering collaboration and a proactive safety culture.
Charlene Barnes
Accounts Payable
Charlene is responsible for raising all office purchase orders, reconciliation of supplier ledgers and bank accounts, as well as the analysis of procurement trends and development of supplier relationships. She also provides general administration support to our Service and Project divisions and oversees the procurement of office stationery and kitchen supplies.
Krystin
Accounts Payable Clerk
Krystin is an integral part of our Contract Administration team supporting the Project Managers and Site Managers on our Construction Projects. She is responsible for monthly progress claims, cost code analysis, raising purchase orders and producing weekly reports. Krystin assists with reconciliation of costs against the project budget before preparation of progress claims.
Paul Casey
Electrical Supervisor - Service
As a dual trade mechanic in both Electrical and Refrigeration, Paul provides excellent technical support to clients and staff for all electrical and industrial refrigeration service needs. Paul is a loyal and committed staff member who has been with Navaska for over 20 years.
Sarah Cloughessy
Power Platform & Automation Specialist
Sarah is responsible for the design and development of business applications across Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint, with over 6+ years of experience in systems & data management. She works closely with all teams across the business to map processes, identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into practical solutions.
Kate Prasad
Contract Administrator
Kate prepares monthly progress claims/ summaries for all jobs & projects, raises purchase orders and produces weekly project reports. She ensures all program and project data are captured, maintains and co-ordinates information on projects assisting the Project Managers to analyse costs against the project budget.
Alanah Hughes
Accounts Receivable
Alanah oversees the Service Department debtor accounts, is responsible for invoicing and debt collection, she works closely with our supervisors to ensure a smooth invoice process and completion of service calls. Alanah supports our Finance Manager with bank reconciliations and End of Month financial reports and is a great asset to our team.

Chief Morale Officer
Ruby leads workplace wellbeing initiatives by conducting regular team check-ins, elevating office morale, and delivering on-demand emotional support. She also oversees front-of-house greetings with enthusiasm and charm, and her primary objective is to earn pats and make everyone smile.
Olivia
Quality Coordinator/ Accounts Administrator
Olivia is responsible for preparing monthly progress summaries for all jobs and projects, generating purchase orders, and compiling weekly project reports. She diligently captures all program and project data, while also coordinating information related to projects, which aids Project Managers in analysing costs against project budgets.
Nick Cudmore
Stores Supervisor
Nick is responsible for Logistics and Warehousing, Service Fleet Management, Refrigeration/Welding Gas management, as well as Tool Procurement and Maintenance. Delivery of parts to site and general forklift and Trade Assistant duties.
