At Navaska, we specialise in electrical and mechanical services including commercial air conditioning and commercial and industrial refrigeration solutions. We provide high-end design, installation and support services to construction, commercial and industrial customers across South East and Central Queensland.
The business has grown significantly over the past 20 years, with our Managing Director Ross McLennan launching the company in 1997 as a small family run business. Today Navaska is a multi-layer, multi-division, national mechanical services contractor with over 70 highly-specialised staff. While our size has changed, our focus on small business values such as honesty, integrity and quality hasn’t. We are reliable, dependable, cost effective and proactive. We treat our clients like family and value the importance of building trusted, long-term relationships. Meet The Team



Ross McLennan
Managing Director
Ross manages the daily operations at Navaska and takes a very hands on approach to ensure the successful design and delivery of projects, on time and budget. With over 30 years’ experience Ross brings both industry knowledge and practical engineering expertise to every project.



Troy Jaremenko
Director
Troy manages our service division, working proactively with our clients to deliver servicing, scheduled and preventative maintenance across all areas to help extend the life of equipment. He has over 22 years’ experience in the industrial refrigeration and air conditioning industry.



Lisa Manteit
Office/ Finance Manager
With over 7 years at Navaska, Lisa oversees the day-to-day activities of all administration staff and is responsible for the fluency and accuracy of paperwork and financial reporting. She is also responsible for generating and presenting monthly financial reports to management, and investigating ways to increase profitability and analysis of performance for both the Service and Project divisions.



John Morton
Electrical Supervisor – Projects
John oversees the electrical installation of major projects from design through to implementation. He is also involved with new and ongoing research and development in our electrical division and has been with Navaska for over 5 years.



Paul Casey
Electrical Supervisor – Service
As a dual trade mechanic in both Electrical and Refrigeration, Paul provides excellent technical support to clients and staff for all electrical and industrial refrigeration service needs. Paul is a loyal and committed staff member who has been with Navaska for over 17 years.



David Kratzmann
Air Conditioning Supervisor
David has been with Navaska for over 6 years as Air Conditioning Supervisor, maintaining and overseeing corporate, multiple industrial and commercial clients with experience in service works, installation and project management. He also manages a team of service mechanics for routine maintenance, scheduled projects and break down work.



Peter McIlhatton
Project Manager
Peter has over 23 years experience in the HVAC industry. He is responsible for the financial control, resource management and delivery of small, medium and large scale projects. Peter successfully manages projects whilst maintaining strong client relationships and is an integral member to our dynamic team.



Brad Sanders
Air Conditioning Supervisor
Brad has been with Navaska for over 15 years and is a valued asset to our service team. He manages service department air conditioning installation works and maintains numerous air conditioning service sites across a diverse range of clients.



Dale Kruger
Design Manager
Dale oversees the design and documentation of HVAC & R for residential, industrial, healthcare and commercial buildings. He provides value engineering to all mechanical designs, undertake tender submissions, detailed design for D&C tenders and provides advisory services to internal and external stakeholders.



Matt Travers
Mechanical Engineer
Matt oversees the design and documentation of HVAC & R for residential, industrial and commercial buildings. He also assists with the design for project tenders, provides construction coordination and guidance on projects.



Claire Murray
Accounts Payable
Claire is Responsible for raising all office purchase orders, reconciliation of supplier ledgers and bank accounts, plus analysis of procurement trends and development of supplier relationships. She also provides support to our Service division and assists with all administration functions for the Service department.



Toni Symmonds
HSEQ Advisor
Toni has been with Navaska for over 10 years, implementing and maintaining Navaska’s health, safety, environmental and quality systems, and meeting and exceeding HSEQ standards required by legislative authorities and our clients in a wide range of industries including Construction, Education, Food Processing and Retailers, Manufacturing, Cold Storage, Property Management, IT Management Services, and Logistics.



Angela Karamihas
Administration Support
Angela is Assistant to our administration team providing support duties for both the Projects and Services divisions assisting with general administration functions. She also assists with the collation of data and preparation of reports and manuals for our Project Management team.



BRIDGET GORE
Contracts Administrator
Bridget supports the Project Team overseeing and performing administrative functions for projects, including facilitating, reporting and analysing Project Claims & Variations, compiling Operation Manuals, Document Control of Drawings, assisting with the Tender process.



OZ SMALLEY
Warehouse Supervisor
Oz is responsible for Logistics and Warehousing, Service Fleet Management, Refrigeration/Welding Gas management, as well as Tool Procurement and Maintenance. Delivery of parts to site and general forklift and T/A duties.
