Skytower

This groundbreaking project is one of our proudest achievements. Here we worked with Hutchinson Builders to help deliver Brisbane’s tallest tower. SkyTower also claims the title of Australia’s 4th tallest building and the southern hemisphere’s largest residential tower. It is also set apart by stunning views and world-class amenities.

Our part in this unique development involved Navaska providing Design and Construct delivery of the country’s largest ever Water Cooled VRF System, serving 1141 apartments across 90 levels. Our in-house team of HVAC&R trades also delivered the installation in an impressive timeframe by working on a 4 day per floor construction cycle.

We worked closely with the client during the initial survey stages of the project to ensure all electrical, heating and cooling services were worked into the supporting structure. This allowed for wiring and conduit to be perfectly placed from the outset. In addition, our client benefited from optimised construction outcomes thanks to our work in a range of areas including off-site prefabrication, Trimble, Revit pre-cast hangers and extensive Quality Assurance (QA) processes.

Our focus on executing on-time delivery also provided a major win for our client with the Navaska team finishing the project three months ahead of schedule.
