Next Hotel

Brisbane’s iconic Lennon’s building dates back to 1941 and is home to a beautiful part of the city’s history. As part of the Next Hotel development, we helped our client deliver a refurbishment project that gave this wonderful hotel a fresh, new, modernised look and feel.

Our team provided an efficient and cutting-edge air conditioning solution that perfectly suited the re-styled venue. We seamlessly integrated a Mitsubishi Electric Water Cooled VRF system across 315 hotel rooms, four levels featuring entertainment and a restaurant, and two levels of retail space, in the Queen St Mall. The result was a dedicated cooling system that complements the new surrounds.

This project presented unique challenges including the need to retrofit a modern, cost effective and reliable air conditioning system into an old building with design constraints. Our quest to deliver a great outcome for our client led us to bring a new technology into the country. One that provides space saving and energy efficient benefits. The success of this new solution has been widely recognised across the industry.
